Wooden Spoon, Wooden Fork

Continuing on my journey to become a 'real' photographer I have started shooting in RAW. Basically, when your camera saves a picture as a JPG it makes some decisions for you and discards data. When you capture images in RAW all of the data available to the camera when the picture was taken is preserved. This gives far greater control of the photo, though it does make for a a much larger file size (the original RAW file for this picture was over 17 megabytes). I was pleased with the results after working with just the RAW file but I did use Photoshop to get some more detail visible in the handles of the utensils.
